Contemporary Drawing Projects paper

Contemporary Drawing Projects is a 15 credit paper that Massey University Wellington started in 2016 and now runs every summer school. It is a four week block course with each week bringing a new practicing artist/designer to explore their contemporary drawing practice with the students. The fourth week, allowing the students to develop their own personal projects in response to the previous workshops in weeks 1-3.
The block course delivery mode allows Drawing Open to access artists and designers from around the world, to create an intense learning experience, exposing the students to diverse approaches of drawing as expanded practice and opinions.
